On vacation, children can sometimes seem noisy, even invasive. In Seine-Maritime, a hotel complex promises a childless vacation. Everything is thought of for adults. A couple spent 500 euros to afford tranquility without their children or those of others. Hotels, travel agencies, airlines … In recent years, many tourism sectors have been turning to the “No Kids” market.
Faced with this trend, the government wants to reply. From July 5, traders who want to point out that children are welcome are invited to stick a sticker with a stroller on their window. A senator has tabled a bill to sanction the places that refuse children, which is discrimination in her. “These places pose as a postulate that children are a nuisance”regrets Laurence Rossignol, senator (PS) of Val-de-Marne.
