The first French victory has finally arrived. For the last stage of the Critérium du Dauphiné, Lenny Martinez won by attacking 8 km from the finish. A survivor of the breakaway, the Frenchman distorted company Enric Mas when the Spaniard seized his container. A master stroke and a victory on the Mont-Cenis set for Martinez who won his 9th career victory. Ideal before the Tour de France.
