An owner managed to get reimbursed for the equivalent of 20% decrease on his property tax in four years, after discovering that the taxman had overvalued a coefficient, bringing up the bill for his building.

Pierre Boulet has obtained what many dream of: getting money reimbursed by taxes. Pierre owns 25 real estate, including an apartment in Indre-et-Loire. But quickly, his property tax seemed too high. In question, according to him, an unknown calculation parameter: the maintenance coefficient, supposed to reflect the dilapidated state of the building. From 0.8 if the property is very degraded, at 1.2 if it is perfectly new.

The higher this coefficient, the more expensive the property tax.
