The challenge is to reconcile spectacular and safety, just three kilometers from the tracks of Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle airport. A fighter plane is evolving while an airliner has just taken off.
To find out how this air ballet is taking place, France Télévisions had access to the best kept site on the site: the control tower. Bourget air controllers are test pilots, who ensure strict compliance with flight programs. Altitude, area overflown … They review everything and also ensure that the speed limit is well respected: 1,000 km/h maximum. It is forbidden to pass the sound wall. A strict protocol that follows several accidents.
