Will the Israelis send a commando unit to destroy the fordo uranium enrichment site? While the Americans, who are the only ones to have a missile capable of reaching the place, do not provide for action in this sense, the Israeli army is considering all the options.
It was September 8; An extraordinary Israeli commando operation, in Syria, in the Masyaf region, 200 kilometers from Israel. Members of the Air Force Unit managed to destroy underground installations and recover sensitive information. The premises were then used for the manufacture of missiles for Hezbollah, supported by Iran. An operation that required years of preparation. To achieve this, they are dozens of soldiers transported by helicopter.
But, is such an operation on Iranian soil possible? The sending of terrestrial troops to Iran seems to be under discussion to reach the fordow uranium enrichment site, because today, the American GBU-57 bomb can destroy it. An American official reports to the Axios media that “the Israelis told Trump administration that they might not reach the mountain deep enough with bombs, but that they could do it with humans”. An action which turns out to be more difficult than that carried out in Syria last year, due to the distance between the two countries.
