800 passengers were blocked in a Eurostar for many hours Sunday, July 6. The train found itself immobilized without air conditioning on board. Travelers were able to embark on a replacement train, after a lot of patience.

Passengers left to their own own were blocked on the tracks for several hours. They were 800 aboard a Eurostar Leaving Sunday July 6 from Brussels, Belgium, in the direction of London, England. But at the end of the morning, in Rodelinghem in Pas-de-Calais, the train broke down. “The train encountered a problem of power supply while it was traveling between Lille and Calais. He found himself immobilized without power on board”said Eurostar.

In private air conditioning wagons, the heat was stifling. On social networks, passengers denounce the lack of care of the company. To take their pain in patience, some improvise a concert along the train when stopped. It was only around 4 p.m., after 6 a.m., that a replacement train finally arrives on site. The passengers were able to embark towards the United Kingdom.
