The second edition of the Six Kings Slam will see the current six best players in Arabic next October in Arabic in Arabic.
Since 2019, Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, comes alive every year from October, and for several months, on the occasion of the “Riyadh Season”, a series of sporting events. Last year, the first edition of the Six Kings Slam was held, in front of 8,000 spectators gathered over three days in The Venue. And the second edition was confirmed this Monday by the Saudi promoter Turki Al-Sheikh. The six players currently the best classified at ATP will be present: Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz, Alexander Zverev, Jack Draper, Taylor Fritz and Novak Djokovic will be opposed from October 15 to 18. Last year, the Sinner-Alcaraz-Djokovic trio was already there, just like Rafael Nadal (now retired), Daniil Medvedev and Holger Rune, today further in the ranking.
$ 6 million for the winner
If the regulations are the same as in 2024, then two players will be exempt from the first round (Nadal and Djokovic last year) and the other four will play a dam, before the semi-finals, the small final and the grand finale, in two winning sets. Sinner had beaten Alcaraz last year in the final and had therefore received a check for $ 6 million, knowing that each participant was automatically received $ 1.5 million.
The tournament will take place over four days, but with a day of rest in the middle, the ATP prohibiting players from playing more than two days in a row during an exhibition. This six King Slam will take place after the Masters 1000 of Shanghai and before the ATP 500 of Vienna and Basel, during the week of the ATP 250 of Almaty, Stockholm and Brussels, in which these large caliber players do not participate, in general.
