Philipsen, fracture and broken coast



Following his fall during the third stage, we know the injuries from which Jasper Philipsen suffers. A clavicle fracture and, at least, a broken coast, requiring surgery.

Nevertheless, his beautiful duel against Jonathan Milan (Lidl-Trek) is somewhat overshadowed by the abandonment of another sprinter, Jasper Philipsen (Alpecin-Deceuninck). First stage winner on this 2025 edition and therefore the first yellow jersey, the Belgian also worn the green jersey of the leader in points on the third day of racing. However, a remarkable big loop, quickly suffocated, following its serious fall.

Even if it is not voluntary, I apologize to Jasper Philipsen and the Alpecin team. I am not a bad boy, it is not pleasant ”, spoke on arrival in Dunkirk Bryan Coquard (Cofidis), moved to tears.
