Financing your driving license thanks to your personal training account (CPF): this is what Cléo Lacroix chose, a 30 -year -old stylist. Its 1,350 euros in driving lessons are supported. But soon, the use of the CPF could become capped. “”Without the CPF, I’m not sure how I could have financed this training. I need it to move forward in my job. It’s really something, I feel, who blocks me not to have it“She said.

Like her, almost one in two students from the driving school uses the CPF. Restricrating its use would be bad news for the instructor, Nicolas Noguez. “”It would be a financial impact in terms of our registrations, so after a snowball effect, perhaps having to dissociate monitors “he confides.

And driving schools are not the only ones concerned. In 2024, 1.4 million people benefited from the CPF, for a total of almost 2 billion and a half euros. Among the most requested certifications, license B, English courses, skills assessments or business creation. For professionals in the sector, capping care would have an impact on the quality of training.

“”We will reduce the number of hours of support, which will degrade quality, which is not our wish, our interest and collective interest. If the ceiling is too low, we will decrease in a drastic way and we will end up with accompaniments that will be completely empty of meaning“, Garance analysis Yverneau, secretary general of the actors of competence.

This stroke of plane on the personal training account could bring up to 250 million euros to the state funds.
