“There will soon be no one to inform you in Gaza,” denounces a collective of the journalists’ company


Forty companies of French media journalists, including the digital writing of Franceinfo, are concerned about the fate reserved for journalists in the Palestinian enclave and demand independent access to this conflict area.

More than 200 journalists were killed by the Israeli army, in the Gaza Strip since the start of the conflict, alert around forty journalist companies, echoing a reporters without borders on Monday, September 1. Several media alerted opinion, by barring their front page or by relaying this call, a week after the death of five journalists in the bombing of Nasser Hospital in Khan Younès.

In a column, with which the editorial staff of Franceinfo joins forces, journalists’ companies are calling for their leaders “To put pressure on the Israeli government to put an end to the crimes of the Israeli army against Palestinian journalists” AND “To the Israeli authorities to allow” finally independent access to international journalists at the Gaza Strip “. Finally, they request the immediate resumption by the French authorities of the evacuation of their Palestinian colleagues and sisters. “Our profession is attacked. Our duty to inform is flouted. Our solidarity with our Palestinian colleagues and sisters is total.”
