They were 900 to parade in the morning of October 2 in Calais (Pas-de-Calais), and among the watchwords, employment.
“I am mobilized for my salary to improve, my working conditions, and that at one point or another, the state always derives us from the same people.” Declares Pascal Marié, member of the Penitentiary CGT.
In Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône) too, even claim, even if the mobilization is less important than two weeks ago. Franck Baillot, FSU departmental co-secretary, relativizes: “We knew it would mobilize less, it’s a bit of breathing and a little wait -and -see.”
No demonstration on the other hand for a retiree mobilized for another good cause. “There is no canteen, so I’m the grandmother, I’m going to get my grandson, I come to make it lunch and bring it back.” she says.
In a school in Fontenay-sous-Bois, in the Paris region, some absent teachers, but especially no canteen. Parents were warned the day before. They each have their plan. “I have organized myself simply because today I did not work. However, the mother of another little girl asked me to be able to recover it. I had offered her since she had to work.” explains a mother.
On the transport side, few disturbances, and it is even little to say. Saint-Lazare station in Paris, the travelers of the metro, the RER or the Transilien did not notice much. An almost ideal day.
All travelers are also hopeful for the end of the day.
