Michael Schumacher finds himself, despite himself, indirectly linked to a dark affair of alleged rape which allegedly took place in his house.
Since his terrible skiing accident in 2013, Michael Schumacher has disappeared from the public sphere. Isolated and protected from prying eyes, the seven-time Formula 1 world champion lives partly in his Swiss home in Gland. Constantly surrounded by medical personnel, he today finds himself indirectly linked to a case of alleged rape. One of his former nurses accused an Australian pilot, friend of Mick Schumacher.
Information revealed Tuesday by 24 Hours. The Swiss media detailed the content of the one and a half page indictment. The location of the alleged rape is named as the Schumacher home. The facts date back to 2019. On the day of the events, the defendant occupied one of the rooms located upstairs and it was there that he allegedly abused the nurse, after “a drunken evening”.
Still according to the indictment, no member of the Schumacher family “was not present at the time of the events” and none of them have since been heard by the prosecutor in charge of the case. As for the accused, he is presented by the media as “almost thirty-year-old” who would drive single-seaters whose category has not been specified. It would also have been
“suspended for doping”.
Former regular at the Schumacher estate, the accused has disappeared
In 2019, he tried to join the world of Formula 1 without succeeding. He then rubbed shoulders with Michael Schumacher’s son, Mick. 24 Heures specified that the accused “has its entrances to the Schumi estate” on the Gland side. The latter would have encountered his alleged victim on November 23, 2019 at the end of the day in the billiard room. While the procure felt that
“the nature of the relationship remains unclear”the defendant spoke for his part of “friendly relationship”with a few hugs during a prior evening. Comments disputed by the nurse.
As for the evening of November 23, the accuser drank too much, did not feel well, was carried to her room by two people, including the defendant, the indictment states. The latter would have returned later and carried out the act twice while the nurse was unconscious. The next day, she asks herself questions, talks about it by SMS with the defendant who “would have betrayed himself”added the Swiss media. She won’t say anything to the Schumachers, “for fear of losing your job”. She filed a criminal complaint in January 2022. The defendant has since been interviewed and acknowledged a relationship agreed to by both parties. For several months, he has not given any sign of life. The trial was scheduled to take place this Wednesday morning.
