Canal+, good news in sight for subscribers?

Stalled since this summer, discussions between Canal+ and the LFP regarding Ligue 1+ could resume soon.

With 100% of European cups including obviously the Champions League until 2027, as well as the Premier League, Canal+ offers its subscribers a well-stocked football catalog. Without forgetting, for this season again, that the Ligue 1 match on Saturday afternoon (at 5 p.m.) is broadcast by beIN Sports and distributed by the group, on myCanal, via a subscription.

Could Canal+’s offer on the French championship be even richer in the months or years to come? Maxime Saada, the president of the group, held discussions along these lines with Nicolas de Tavernost this summer. The objective was to offer Ligue 1+, the new LFP channel, on its platform. But the negotiations were unsuccessful and have never been resumed since.
