However, this divorce is not really amicable. The Algerian Football Federation (FAF) would have proposed compensation to Belmadi corresponding to only three months of salary. What the 48 -year -old technician deemed insufficient. Faced with this refusal, the institution has chosen to terminate its contract unilaterally.
Belmadi files a complaint against the FAF

He even moved to Paris in order to obtain opinions on his situation with legal advisers. The complaint of the former midfielder would relate in particular to the non-payment of unpaid wages as well as an abusive breach of contract.
