Senegal still suffering

After his draw against Burkina Faso, Senegal painfully won in Burundi (0-1) in the CAN qualifiers.

The CAN qualifiers are starting to be very slow for Senegal. After having been held in check by Burkina Faso (1-1) last Friday, by taking the equalization after additional time, the Lions of the Teranga chained this Monday by a success in pain in Burundi (0-1).

The men of Aliou Cissé owed their victory only to a penalty (very generous) obtained by Sadio Mané and transformed by another former player of FC Metz, Ismaïla Sarr (71st).

Senegal temporarily takes the head of its group with four points before facing Malawi twice in October.
