The Shein brand is facing a new scandal. She is accused of having marketed a doll described as child pornography. For the French people we met, it was indignation. “That such a thing is authorized on their site and that, in addition, we welcome a site like that at the BHV, I find that really unacceptable”believes a woman.

The controversy is going badly. If consumers are looking for a basket at a low price, however, they have questions. “It’s very paradoxical, but we’re doing it within our budget”says one of them. “I have never taken the plunge. I am afraid of not receiving the product as expected. I like to test and see the items in real life”confides another woman.

This scandal would not, however, cause the brand to falter, according to certain specialists. After its opening in Paris, the brand must be established by mid-November in five Galeries Lafayette in the provinces.
