Would you be ready to put your hand in your wallet to save the famous glassworks? Duralex ? Taken over more than a year ago by its employees, the company now offers the French crowdfunding on an online platform. The objective is to help him achieve financial balance. “We must support, it’s a really important undertaking”confides a woman. “It can be good because already, for the company, it necessarily brings money and for us too, it works in both directions”affirms Falso a man.
French people will be able to invest from 100 euros in the company and will be paid 8% per year. Partly tax deductible, the amount will be blocked for 7 years. Employees hope to collect 5 million euros.
“A factory like Duralex needs a lot of investment. We woke it up this year. Now we have to come out with new products. We have to put in new machines because the machines are starting to get worn out, we have to come out with new packaging, we have to bring out new glasses, we have to modernize Duralex”declares François Marciano, general manager of Duralex. Crowdfunding is open until November 15.
