Romain Ntamack looks back on his journey, his passion for rugby and the friendships he has made over the years.
Romain Ntamack has been immersed in rugby since a young age. The photos showing him on the pitch alongside his father, Émile Ntamack, during the coronations at Stade Toulousain went around the world. Son of the former French international, six-time French champion and three-time European champion, who played from 1988 to 2005 at Stade Toulousain, Romain was fed the oval ball.
Seduced by the collective spirit of rugby, he rose through the ranks within Stade Toulousain. On September 30, 2017, he made his Top 14 debut against Agen, coming on in the first half, at 18 years and 5 months.

In a video published by France Rugby, the number 10 looked back on his career, his choice of rugby and the friendships he made.
“It’s towards the end of middle school, the beginning of high school, that you start to make the small departmental selections, to enter the hopefuls pole, and you tell yourself that you would like to make this your career”explains the opener.
Romain Ntamack has special memories of his beginnings with his two best friends, Matthis Lebel and Martin Page-Relo (today at UBB). “I was lucky, around 12/13 years old, that my two best friends joined me in Toulouse. We grew up together, at first it was for fun, and gradually it became more serious. Today, it’s funny to see where we’ve come”says the French international.
