Tuesday’s launch of the work and pensions social conference, which brings together unions, employers and government, was marked by the departure of the first employers’ organization.

The work and pensions conference, which aims to advance social dialogue on these thorny subjects and to fuel debates with a view to the presidential campaign, opened Tuesday with a method meeting without the first employers’ organization, Medef, which did not participate. “will not participate”.

The debates will take place at the Economic, Social and Environmental Council (Cese) in the presence of social partners and experts, with a first plenary session before the end of the year followed by three workshops which will be held every month or month and a half.
