With the arrival of winter comes the fear of seeing your electricity bill increase again. So, to save money, suppliers offer group purchasing offers for households. In this context, the UFC-Que Choisir association is relaunching its “Cheaper Energy Together” operation and allows a 21% discount compared to the regulated kWh rate. A fixed rate for two years, which this retiree benefited from last year in her house where everything runs on electricity. “Incl. VAT (All taxes included, Editor’s note), in November, we were at 0.2002 and EDF was at 0.2276. So it seemed interesting to us. This is the second time we have done it and we are satisfied with it”explains a retired EDF customer.
For Grégory Caret, director of the UFC-Que Choisir Consumer Observatory, once again, the operation launched by the association would allow households to save money.
“A household can reach 2,000 euros of electricity bill without worry if it has a large property and if it heats with electricity. In this context, the saving will be 300 euros on average over a year, which is not negligible”he observes. Only 150,000 people will be able to take advantage of this offer, valid until December 20.
