This 56-year-old man, already convicted of sexual assault, was arrested on Wednesday following a report from employees of a parcel delivery company.

This announcement comes in the midst of a scandal over the sale of these child-like sex dolls sold by the Chinese platforms Shein and AliExpress, into which the Paris prosecutor’s office announced on Monday the opening of an investigation. These dolls fall under the scope of offense of dissemination of the image or representation of a minor of a pornographic nature, punishable by five years of imprisonment and a fine of 75,000 euros.
