During the plenary session of Wednesday, November 19, 2025, devoted to the examination of the budget of the Ministry of Health, MP Dalel Lamouchi returned to the state of the public health sector in the governorate of Kef, the region that she represents.
Speaking to the Minister of Health, Mustapha Ferjani she stressed that the management of regional directorates cannot be limited to communications on social networks. “ Regional directorates are not managed through publications on Facebook “, she insisted.
Although she recognized a slight improvement in certain structures, she nevertheless deplored the persistence of major problems: “ No, Mr. Minister, health is not flying high in Kef “, she insisted.
The MP criticized the practice of temporarily dispatching specialists, such as cardiologists, for limited interventions, before presenting the hospital as consolidated and its staff expanded on social networks: “ Seconding a specialist doctor to Jerissa hospital for just two hours, or sending him elsewhere, then announcing on Facebook that health is ‘flying high’, is to take us for fools “, she denounced.
Dalel Lamouchi clarified that the sector could only truly be described as efficient “ when we see the doors of the dialysis center open in Dahmani “. She warned against overly flattering slogans, which give a misleading picture of the real situation: “ I hear this slogan — ‘health flies high’ — every day and you will be misled into thinking that everything is fine, but that is not the case at all. »
The MP also highlighted the logistical difficulties at Sers hospital, where two of the three available ambulances are currently out of service for mechanical reasons. “ Enough of the posts. That’s not how we handle things “, she concluded.
