Only teams with Brive, Grenoble and Colomiers to have won their first two games, Dax and Biarritz continued their box full Friday evening during the 3rd day of Pro D2 by winning respectively against Colomiers and Oyonnax. Soyaux-Angoulême, 3rd, follows two points after his victory in Nice.
Dax and Biarritz received three out of three. Only teams with Colomiers, Grenoble and Brive, who had dropped Nevers in the advanced match, to approach this 3rd day of Pro D2 with two victories in as many matches in their counter, the two undefeated in the division continued their full box, this Friday evening. The calendar had reserved two home games for Dacquois and Biarrots. The two ended up on a third success for the now alone co-leaders, with 12 points for the two teams.
Programmed before his rival, Dax first arranged in pain (25-24) from Colomiers, another undefeated team before this 3rd day. Twelve minutes from the end, it was the Columérins who led, but Dax is not one of the best teams at home for nothing, and the Landes proved it by subjected to Colomiers its first defeat of the season. Colomiers fell, it was then the turn of Grenoble, another team still undefeated, to drink the cup, on the lawn of Aurillac, and to miss at the same time the opportunity to accompany Dax at the top of the classification.
Dolhagaray (Biarritz) still in the spotlight
Before receiving the Grenoblois in the next match, the FCG has also undergone a correction (42-19) on the lawn of Aurillacois who, themselves, unlock their counter, in the same way as Agn, winner at the same time on the lawn of Mont-de-Marsan (28-23). Biarritz did not miss this opportunity, however. Opposed to Oyonnax, an ex-fencer (relegated) of the Top 14, the BO took over one of its direct competitors (19-13) thanks in particular to a second half-negotiated half-time than the Oyomen.
The latter, in search of their first victory on the move, had marked the first try of the evening, just after the recovery (note: the score was 6-6 at the break), on an action of the forwards concluded in force under the posts by Miquel, but the Basques were quick to react. And on a ball, worn, Clément Martinez equalized before Thomas Dolhagaray, one of the heroes at the start of the season Biarrot, took out his box again to offer two penalties to the BO his third victory of the season. In Pro D2, the South West holds the reindeer.
