Even before the suspension was announced, anger was already growing. Last Wednesday, these artisans demonstrated to denounce the instability of the MaPrimeRénov’ system and the slow payment of public aid intended for energy renovation.“All the craftsmen are fed up. When we talk to colleagues, they are all fed up. We all want to throw in the towel. Today, there is a real problem of administrative complexity. Without long-term guidelines, people put their foot on the brake and, for us, the building begins to suffer. We have already had very significant job losses“, indicate demonstrators. For them, today is another hard blow. MaPrimeRénov’ will not resume on January 1, due to lack of agreement between parliamentarians to adopt a budget before the end of the year. A situation which further weakens the sector, according to this trade unionist.
“We fear, we will say, a collapse in activity to be very clear. We are not asking for assistance, we are not asking for infusion for our businesses. We ask, through the systems that can be put in place, that they are sustainable, that they are administratively easy to implement“, deplores Marc Sanchez, general secretary of the union of independents and VSEs. For consumers, assistance will be maintained if the MaPrimeRénov file has been submitted and validated before the end of the year.
