Some are already ready, others are just starting to make their Christmas presents and many of them can be believed by the crowds in this shopping center in Amiens (Somme). Find something that can suit our children and especially grandparents“, says a customer. I don’t know and now it’s becoming catastrophic because we’re three days away from Christmas“, declares another customer in the Amiens shopping center.

In Nîmes, the rain disrupts the celebrations. So a shopkeeper had an idea to attract latecomers. “We organized an aperitif at the store where we invited customers, we broadcast it on social networks. We try to be present, to offer them gift ideas, to be on the advice“, declares Melissa Delmas, president of the merchants’ association “Régale et Co”.

To be sure to please, some customers rely on chocolate. A formula that brings good business to this Dunkirk boutique. It shows 10% more turnover compared to the same period last year. “People continue to come to the store precisely for the last gifts, the last little touches, also the decoration of the tables“, explains Jean-Philippe Cecchin, store manager. But don’t panic, you still have two days to check all the boxes on the list sent to Santa Claus.
