In full preparation for the Milan-Cortina Olympic Games, Eric Perrot had equipment stolen while he was filming the second episode of his web series.
A rising star in French biathlon, Eric Perrot has decided to take you behind the scenes of his preparation for the Milan-Cortina Olympic Games. After a first episode devoted to his training near Peisey Vallandry (Savoie), the individual world champion has posted the second of four parts of his mini-series online.
This time, Eric Perrot is heading to Tenerife for an altitude training course with his girlfriend Chloé Lacreuse and his brother Marius. Most of the footage is filmed in the Teide Volcano National Park, although we also see some relaxing moments on the beaches of the southwest of the Canary Island.
Eric Perrot, however, was not able to show everything he would have liked, because the 24-year-old biathlete was the victim of equipment theft during his stay. A camera was stolen, as was the SD card containing the images shot during the first days of the internship.
Hard blow for Eric Perrot
“The episode is therefore perhaps not up to what I wanted, but we are on an amateur level and on something that resembles us.e, explains the native of Bourg-Saint-Maurice
at Nordic Mag. We reflect things that are happening. We were hoping to do a nice episode with nice shots and beautiful images so it stings a little, but it’s in line with the project. »
“The rest of the mini-series will take place in December at Les Saisies”indicates Perrot on YouTube. He will take advantage of a short break between two rounds of the World Cup (which is scheduled to resume at the end of November) to unveil “behind the scenes at the start of the Olympic season. »
