The technical breakdown of a Trenitalia train at Vianges (Côte-d’Or) caused delays for other trains of the Italian railway company and for those of its French competitor SNCF, on the morning of Thursday December 25.

The TGV Inoui 6603 which was due to arrive at Lyon-Perrache at 9:10 a.m. was delayed by 1 hour 20 minutes, according to the French company’s website consulted at 10:30 a.m.. In the other direction, the TGV Inoui 6612 which was to leave at 9:50 a.m. from Lyon-Perrache to Lyon station in Paris, was expected to experience a delay of 55 minutes. Other Inoui or Ouigo trains heading to the Paris station were also delayed, coming from Marseille, Saint-Etienne, Geneva or Perpignan.
