A yacht seized with a Belarusian billionaire involved in a money laundering case was sold more than 10 million euros on Thursday, March 27.
With its 41 meters of floating luxury, the Stefania is an exceptional yacht, made up of five suites and two jacuzzis. It belonged to a Belarusian billionaire involved in a money laundering case. Seized in October 2023 by justice, the boat was sold at auction for 10 million euros to a buyer who wished to remain anonymous. The money collected by these exceptional auctions will go directly to the State. Except for real estate, the Stefania has become the biggest sale of the history carried out for the benefit of the State. The former Belarusian owner of the yacht is still wanted by the police. His villa on Côte-d’Azur, estimated at 10 million euros, was also seized by justice.
