This agreement provides for compensation for the subscribers concerned “by an unjustified increase in their monthly prices”, Whether they are still customers or have terminated their subscription.

Eligible consumers will be able to receive flat -rate compensation between 20 and 75 euros, depending on their status. “This compensation will be simple to obtain and without additional cost for the consumers concerned”, specifies the association UFC-Que Choisir. The still active subscribers will receive within 15 days a specific form from Canal+. The former subscribers, on the other hand, will be able to submit their request via a dedicated procedure before December 31, 2025.

“The UFC-Que Choisir and Canal+ welcomes this agreement which leads to a satisfactory effective solution, faster than a judicial decision, it being understood that the content of this agreement was validated by the judge within the framework of the group action procedure, thus guaranteeing that the interest of the consumers concerned has been preserved”explains the association.
