A precautionary principle. The service by Air France of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates has been suspended since Sunday, and at least until Monday, June 23 inclusive, due to the conflict in the Middle East, the airline announced. “Due to the current situation, the company has decided to cancel its flights from and to Dubai as well as its flights from and to Riyadh”, Announces an Air France spokesperson.
This suspension concerns one rotation per day from Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle, respectively towards the Mégalopololis Emiratie and the Saudi capital. “Customers whose flight is canceled have been informed. They can change their trip without cost or request a credit or full refund in the event that they no longer travel”, underlined the French airline.
On Sunday, British Airways also canceled its flights between London Heathrow and those of Dubai and Doha, after the American bombing on nuclear sites in Iran. This entry into the conflict, launched a week earlier by Israel against the Islamic Republic, raises reprisals against American interests in the Middle East, in particular military bases located in the Gulf Monarchies.
