Bagnaia winner in Austin

The GP of the Americas has given us a fantastic scenario. If Francesco Bagnaia has established itself, the leader Marc Marquez fell, just like Johann Zarco in a delayed and eventful race.

After the sprint won by Marc Marquez the day before, the Spaniard did not succeed. The fault of a fall during the 9th round of race at turn 4. While he counted two seconds ahead of Bagnaia, Mr. Marquez left with his damaged Ducati and a torn combination. Retaining in 18th position, he finally abandoned the 13th round and joined the stands for the first time of the season. A thunderclap on American soil. Bagnaia takes advantage of this event to win and Alex Marquez takes the head of the general in front of his brother. Everything is relaunched!

Mr. Marquez Best start, but finally on the ground

A delayed departure, a Fabio Quartararo on the ground during the training round, the rain before the sun, the Austin GP announced the color. At the start, it was finally Marc Marquez who took the best in front of his brother and his teammate at Ducati, Francesco Bagnaia. Behind the domination of M. Marquez, the battle for second place is intense. It is ultimately the Italian Bagnaia who takes control of the race during the fall of the leader in the pilot ranking. After the 12th round, the French are fighting for the top 10. Zarco finds themselves 7th, while Quartararo is 13th.

But the falls also animated the GP of the Americas. While Mr. Marquez, Brad Binder, Joan Mir and Pedro Acosta have already abandoned, Zarco joins them. In the fight with Enea Bastianini (KTM Tech 3), the French loses control of his Honda LCR and fall. An abandonment and a dream of Top 10 that flies away. Fabio Quartararo ends in the points with a 10th place, but it is Bagnaia who created the sensation in front of Alex Marquez.
