A priori, the former Bordeaux player will be able to make his return during the semi-final of the Spanish Super Cup against Athletic Bilbao, on January 7 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. His participation in Barça’s first match of 2026, against Espnayol on January 3, is uncertain but not completely ruled out.
