Boxing Day program revealed

This Wednesday, the LNR announced the program for Boxing Day, which corresponds to the 13th day of the Top 14 and which will be held on December 27 and 28. For the occasion, there will not be several matches at the same time.

The schedule for the traditional Boxing Day of the Top 14 is now known. Indeed, this Wednesday morning, the National Rugby League (LNR) unveiled the program for the 13th day of the Top 14 which will take place on Saturday December 27 and Sunday December 28. For this last day of the first leg, the menu promises to be copious, as is the end of the year celebration. Indeed, rugby fans will have the opportunity to watch all seven matches in full.

Because, for the occasion, there will not be a multiplex with four matches at the same time, as is generally the case on Saturday at 4:35 p.m., but four posters in a row on Saturday at 2 p.m., 4 p.m., 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. Finally, on Sunday, three matches will be scheduled from 4 p.m. (6 p.m. and 9:05 p.m. for the other two). While Racing 92 – Montauban will be the first meeting on Saturday, the Clermont – Bordeaux-Bègles and Toulouse – La Rochelle clashes will be in “prime time” on both evenings.

An association in the spotlight for a good cause

To make the party even more beautiful shortly after Christmas, this 13th day of the Top 14 will honor an association, as the LNR announced this Wednesday. “This 2025 edition of Boxing Day will be dedicated to supporting the APF France Handicap association,” we can read on the official website of the body.

“In this context, all Top 14 clubs will carry out solidarity actions and fundraisers intended to support the initiatives of the association, which has long been committed to promoting the inclusion of people with disabilities in society. This decision is a continuation of the Disability Plan put in place in 2024 by the LNR as part of its societal strategy oriented towards inclusion,” the LNR further specifies.
