« Thank you for understanding the meaning of my approach and for sincerely supporting me. I will not give the putschist the satisfaction of extinguishing me without resistance. My imprisonment is the consequence of my opposition to the return of dictatorship and absolute power. Should I give up because they locked up my body? If I did, I would have lost even before the battle.
I will not renounce political action, I will not be silent about my freedom, and I will fight to the end, with all my strength and my will.
