This is another setback for MaPrimeRénov’. In the absence of a budget vote, the windows for this energy renovation aid will remain closed in January. Bad news for all individuals who hoped to benefit from it.

This aid, which allows reimbursement of part of the energy renovation work, can reach several tens of thousands of euros for the largest projects. Already suspended for several weeks in the summer of 2025, a new interruption could be costly for construction companies.

The representatives of the artisans denounced, Monday, November 22, the irresponsibility of the parliamentarians who did not vote on the budget. “We have companies that were waiting for arbitrations and individuals, faced with this lack of budget, will surely postpone or cancel their quote. And therefore, we obviously have the destruction of jobs, companies in difficulty and considerably affected cash flow”indicates Jean-Christophe Repon, president of CAPEB (Confederation of crafts and small construction companies).

In 2025, MaPrimeRénov’ has benefited more than 100,000 large-scale projects, exceeding the objective set by the government. For next year, 80,000 additional files currently being examined will have to wait for the budget vote to obtain their funding.
