It was in the lounge reserved for the big winners that they discreetly came to collect their winnings, with emotion multiplied by five.

“They were already very happy to have won together, because that is often what we observe, and which is quite tasty when we play in a group. There is a complicity, a connivance, a sharing of this emotion which is very intense. They were very calm, very serene and, obviously, very happy”says Isabelle Cesari, FDJ United winner support and experience manager.

What if it was beginners’ luck? It was in a Parisian bar that the group of fifty-year-olds checked off this combination of numbers that one of them often played. For the first time, they decided to bet together.
