The pensions conclave ended in failure on Monday, June 23. In the absence of agreement, Prime Minister François Bayrou summons the social partners to Matignon this Tuesday afternoon. To talk about it, Maud Bregeon, Renaissance deputy for Hauts-de-Seine, is the guest of the “morning” June 24.
At the end of four months of consultation and sixteen meetings, the social partners did not reach an agreement on pensions. Should we see in the failure of the conclave that of Prime Minister François Bayrou, who announced to convene the social partners on Tuesday, June 24 in Matignon? “François Bayrou does everything to make these discussions succeed”assures Maud Bregeon, Renaissance deputy of Hauts-de-Seine, adding that “François Bayrou is not responsible for what emerges from this conclave”.
Faced with the threat of a motion of censorship from the left, Maud Bregeon believes that “The left lies to the French claiming that we could go back, that we could even go back to the starting age at 64”. “Today, we have to take a discourse of responsibility, even if it is not always happy to hear”continues the former spokesperson for the government Barnier, who judges the pension reform of the Bounda Bounds imperative to reduce the deficit.
