Full box for Brive!

Brive clearly dominated Agen (32-18), this Thursday in the advanced match of the 15th day of Pro D2. The Brivistes, revenue temporarily up to the Grenoble leader, continue their full box at home.

The big eight for Brive. Thursday evening, the CAB took advantage of Agen’s arrival on the lawn of its Amédée-Domenech stadium to align an eighth victory (in as many home matches this season) in front of its audience and remain undefeated on its land. The Brivistes, who missed the offensive bonus at the very end of the match,, however, missed the opportunity to temporarily resume orders from the ranking in front of Grenoble, which moves to Nice on Friday. The players of Pierre-Henri Broncan are therefore content to come back to the height of the Grenoblois, assured of remaining leaders one day more at least.

It was precisely facing the FCG that Brive had seen his beautiful series of victories (four in a row) ending on the last day. The Corréziens therefore had at heart to immediately relaunch the machine. They did it and did against Agenais who fell in love with the fifth minute on a test of Simon-Pierre Chauvac consecutive to a ball worn-the first of the game-the specialty house on the Brivis side. The 9th in the ranking, in search of his second victory outside and his third in a row, did not allow himself to be killed.

Agen can blame it

This is evidenced by this test by Loris Tolot, well served by Franck Pourteau. Brive resumed the advantage on a line at the end of his winger and former … Agais Tevita Railevu, author of his second try in two games when he had not played the previous matches. But once again, the SUA responded, with the seventh test this season of Iban Etcheverry, superbly offbeat at the end of the line by its opener Billy Searle. Agen should not have stopped there. The Agenais, rare, were indeed found at fifteen against thirteen opponents, but without however taking advantage of it, with only three points registered during this double numerical superiority.

Once back to fifteen, Brive, he did not let the opportunity to mark a fourth test, on a … balloon carried of course, operated by Benjamin Boudou. The Grenoble dolphins then had several sequences to take this bonus point, but without achieving it. Or the only downside of this evening which still succeeded in CAB in its lair.
