In the absence of agreement of the social partners, what does the pension reform provide?

After the lack of agreement between the social partners, Prime Minister François Bayrou announced on Tuesday morning the pursuit of the discussions, by calling for all the games to Matignon at noon. In case of Denouvel failure, it will be the reform of 2023 that will apply.

Award for the legal retirement age at 64, duration of contributions increased to 43 years from 2027, end of special diets … The program is known and, except miraculous turnaround, it could apply in good and due form. This law promulgated in April 2023 had been published in the Official Journal in stride. The failure of discussions between social partners therefore brings her up to date.

The law of 2023 extends from 62 to 64 to the legal age of departure, an age gradually noted at the rate of three months by generation from the insured born on 1East September 1961. Concretely, the retirement age will be brought to 63 years and 3 months in 2027 (for generation 65) to reach 64 years in 2030 (for generations 68 and following). At the same time, the duration of contributions to benefit from a full -rate retirement will be brought to 43 years in 2027, from the generation born in 1965.

Those who have started working before 16 can go at 58, and from 60 years for a start of work between 16 and 18 years old, etc. Handicapped workers will be able to leave from 55 years old. The law makes it possible to revalue minimum retirement to almost 1,200 euros gross per month for a full -time full -time full career at the minimum wage. As for mothers, they will be able to benefit from an upper up to 5% as soon as they have a complete career at 63 years and at least one quarter of increase in children’s insurance duration.

Removal of the main special retirement plans for people hired in the electric and gas industries, clerics and notary employees, employees of the Banque de France and the RATP (Parisian transport). As for civil servants: postponement of the legal age to 64 years by 2030 and extension of the contribution duration to 43 years from 2027, with a method of calculating pensions which remains unchanged, based on the last six months of activity. It is an understatement to say if it is a reform which is far from being unanimous.
