Started three and a half months ago, the conclave on pensions between social partners, driven by François Bayrou, did not find a way out on Tuesday, June 17, initial date of consultation. In response, the CFDT and CFTC announced a final meeting, scheduled for June 23. For its part, the Ministry of Labor confirmed to France Télévisions that there is “Disagree” and that discussions will extend the “next week”.

To lighten the pressure, Prime Minister, François Bayrou, said he was ready on Monday to grant “A few more days” To the five participants still present: CFDT, CFTC, CFE-CGC on the union side, MEDEF and CPME on the employer side.

The unions want in particular to obtain that arduousness and wear be taken into account in order to be able to leave before 64 years old, the legal age set by the boundary reform of 2023. And employee representatives accuse employers of favoring retraining rather than early departures in the event of professional wear. The unions in any case buried the proposal released from the hat on Monday by François Bayrou from a “premium” to encourage senior employees to delay their retirement.
