With global warming, many ski resorts turn to infrastructure that can be used in summer, as in winter. This is the case of the Dévoluy, in the Alps, which operated a metamorphosis. Games, basketball court and even toboggan on rails … Everything is done to convince vacationers to come and spend the summer there.

It is the great novelty of summer in the Dévoluy (Hautes-Alpes): a toboggy on Rail, 1.5 km long, which will be open summer and winter. “It’s nice, so I knew the summer toboggan, but a very long time ago. It is to introduce the little one. Since it’s the first year, (…) We’re here for the day, that’s it, then we take advantage of new things, new activities, quite simply”comments a vacationer. Her daughter also seems to have fun: “At the beginning, I shouted a bit, because it is the first time, it’s normal, but otherwise it’s okay”she explains.
At the Superdoluy leisure center, a Pump Track has just emerged from the ground. A fun fun space, accessible by bicycle, scooter, rollerblading or skateboarding. “We see that they turn more on the summer because unfortunately the snow, there are fewer and less. And it’s great to have done that because it is in full boom in all cities”Ensures a sportsman who came to enjoy the track. On the other side of the massif, at the cheek of the wolf, a Disc Golf course has just been installed. Investments necessary for the mayor of the town, Alexandra Butel: “The Dévoluy has invested for this season more than 4 million euros in module arrangements for all audiences, to actually respond to a very wide audience of vacationers and especially all year round”explains the councilor. The 3×3 basketball court should be inaugurated in mid-August by the French Olympic medalist team in Paris.
