The financial dispute between Kylian Mbappé and PSG is not over. The two parties meet at the industrial tribunal on November 17.
Having left Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2024, Kylian Mbappé offended the Qatari management by refusing to extend. After the romance lasted seven seasons, the separation went badly and since then, the Real Madrid striker has been fighting against his former club on different subjects. In addition to an accusation of “moral harassment”, the Bondynois also requests a reclassification of his employment contract with Paris. On this last point, both parties will be heard on November 17.
According to information relayed this Wednesday by RMC, Kylian Mbappé and the representatives of PSG will therefore meet for a hearing at the Paris industrial tribunal, in the context of the financial dispute between them. According to a judicial source cited by the media, the French international “requests the reclassification of his CDD into a CDI”.
The disagreement concerns in particular the payment of the last three months of Kylian Mbappé’s salary. The latter did not receive it. He also demands that he be paid various signing and ethics bonuses. In the summer of 2023, when he had just announced to his management that he would not extend at the end of his contract, Kylian Mbappé was put on the shelf and did not participate in the Asian tour then organized.
Mbappé-PSG, the bickering continues
In January 2024, Kylian Mbappé had indicated that he had “reached an agreement with the president this summer (2023)“ this in order to “protect all parties and preserve the serenity of the club”. An agreement that Paris has since contested and which therefore continues to punctuate the agenda of both parties over the months, and now the years.
We now have to wait to see if anything will come out of this hearing on Monday, November 17 (1 p.m.). If love stories usually end badly, this one is the sad but perfect example.
