Loïs Boisson on the sidelines due to her thigh injury, French women’s tennis is struggling to exist.

The Asian tour came to an end for Loïs Boisson. Consequence of the thigh injury which forced her to retire in the third round of the Beijing Tournament. Winner of Dalma Galfi then Liudmila Samsanova, the Frenchwoman threw in the towel at the start of the second round against the American Emma Navarro.

In the process, the native of Dijon was able to leave China and return to France for treatment. Victim of a tear in her left quadriceps, Loïs Boisson had to give up the Wuhan tournament which took place last week and might even have to give up the end of the season. “I will do everything as best I can to be able to still play tournaments in 2025,” she actually wrote on Instagram.

In her absence, all French women’s tennis is in trouble.
