The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Mohamed Ali Nafti, will take part on Thursday, November 6, 2025, in Algiers, in the meeting of the Tripartite Consultation Mechanism on Libya.
The meeting also brings together the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs of Algeria, Ahmed Attaf, as well as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Affairs of Egyptians Abroad of Egypt, Badr Abdelatty.
According to the Foreign Ministry press release, this meeting aims to review the latest developments in Libya and coordinate the joint efforts of the three neighboring countries — Tunisia, Algeria and Egypt — alongside the United Nations Support Mission in Libya.
The announced objective is to continue support for the inter-Libyan dialogue and to contribute to creating the conditions necessary for the achievement of a comprehensive and consensual political settlement, guaranteeing the sovereignty, unity and stability of Libya.
Tunisia reaffirms, on this occasion, its attachment to a Libyan political solution “ under the auspices and with the support of the United Nations », based on the appropriation by the Libyans of their process of ending the crisis, in order to restore security, strengthen the institutions of the State and promote the development of this neighboring country.
