OL are on the verge of making a big move on the transfer market. With a reinforcement of choice seasoned in Ligue 1.
Although still subject to payroll control imposed by the National Directorate of Management Control (DNCG), OL intends to strengthen this winter. Fifth in Ligue 1 and well on its way to direct qualification for the round of 16 of the Europa League, the Rhone club wants to be ambitious for the second half of the season.
Open for several weeks, negotiations with Real Madrid for the loan of Brazilian crack Endrick remain fruitful. A real reinforcement in perspective for a limited Lyon attack since the departures this summer of Alexandre Lacazette and Georges Mikautadze.
A smart transfer in perspective
And OL are also well advanced in another promising file: that of Himad Abdelli. Summoned late to play in the African Cup of Nations with Algeria, the playing master of SCO Angers reaches the end of his contract next June and could thus be the subject of a transfer at a lower cost.
