Barely returned to competition, Ousmane Dembélé is again concerned about an injury, just three days before the PSG-Bayern clash.
Paris Saint-Germain ended its Saturday in euphoria, with this victorious goal from Gonçalo Ramos at the end of added time against OGC Nice (1-0). But bad news fell in the evening, and concerns Ousmane Dembélé.
According to images relayed by Ligue 1+, the Parisian striker complained of pain in his right thigh, in the hamstring area. “I’m in too much pain”he confides to Achraf Hakimi, while the players celebrate success with the public at the Parc des Princes.
At the beginning of September, Ousmane Dembélé injured the same right thigh with the France team. The 2025 Ballon d’Or then missed a month and a half of competition. He returned a little less than two weeks ago, on the lawn of Leverkusen (2-7), scoring as soon as he entered the game.
Dembélé, the worry?
Since then, the return of the Parisian number 10 had been gradual with only one start, against Lorient, where he left quite early in the match (62nd). During the week, Luis Enrique had mentioned thigh discomfort for his attacker, before PSG-Nice, which is not a very good sign when reading the images relayed by Ligue1+.
At a press conference, Luis Enrique was reassuring regarding Dembélé. “Ousmane is a different player. It’s nice to see him on the lawn, on the field. You have to be calm, you have to value your feelings at this moment. I think seeing Ousmane Dembelé, whether it’s 10 or 20 minutes, is impressive. We are happy to see its progress, we have no concerns about it”,
