It now remains to be seen whether Luis Enrique’s men are capable of doing it again, particularly in the Champions League. According to projections from the Opta supercomputer, PSG is among the main contenders for the coronation in May 2026, but only in third place, with a 14% chance of victory. A purely statistical hierarchy which is not unanimous.
“PSG above all”
For Pedri, numbers have their limits. The FC Barcelona midfielder sees above all the reigning champion as the big favorite for his own succession. In an interview given to

Who are the favorites? PSG above all, then Arsenal, Manchester City and Real Madrid”he confided.
In Opta’s projections and after six days of the league phase of the Champions League, Arsenal remains the number one favorite with a 22% chance of winning, ahead of Bayern Munich (14%). PSG follows just behind, while FC Barcelona only appears in fifth position (7%).
