Pay your rent, insurance, transport pass … These expenses represent 35% of the French net income of the French.
An always tight budget for the French. Christelle Chosson, teacher in Poitiers (Vienne), heads the essential charges of her family. “I have a house loan, I have electricity bills”she said. On average, the French spend 1,143 euros per month for their fixed costs, slightly increased by 10 euros over one year. Students, for example, are struggling to complete their budget each month. For Louane Labourdette, it is the most expensive rent.
The accommodation comes at the top of the constrained expenses, in front of insurance and transport. The French are thus forced to make choices. On average, constrained expenses represent 35% of the monthly net income of the French.
