Salah, the savior of Egypt

Egypt got the better of Zimbabwe this Monday for its debut in the African Cup of Nations (2-1). Thanks to Mohamed Salah.

Egypt came close to defeating Zimbabwe, this Monday in Agadir, for its entry into the running in this African Cup of Nations 2025.

Seven-time winners of the continental trophy but never crowned since 2010, the Pharaohs relied on their star Mohamed Salah to make the difference against the valiant Warriors.

It was finally at the start of added time that the Liverpool striker gave the Egyptians three points (90th + 1). This to join South Africa, victorious earlier over Angola (2-1), at the top of Pool B.
