The sun gives the coast its most beautiful winter colors. The water is 11 degrees. It’s warmer there than outside. The brave need not be told more. “A little swim of refreshment to invigorate yourself. I’m going to get dressed because my toes are freezing.”explains a bather.

Others, less adventurous, opt for a walk. “Well covered, with a good hat and a good coat, it’s ideal weather. And above all, with the children, we need to exercise, enjoy and share”explains a walker. “I got the shoes as a gift, I put them on straight away, I went for a run. It feels great, the weather is so nice”says another jogger.

An ideal situation which is good for the turnover of traders. This restaurant near the beach has reopened its doors especially for the holidays. “The grandparents are here and, so, the children come to see them during the Christmas holidays, so it’s a big time”explains Céline Mercier, head chef of a creperie restaurant.

Last winter, the region attracted 6% more tourists than in 2023, proof that our landscapes have not finished conquering the hearts of vacationers.
